Capable and Ready to Eliminate Abuse Through Education
Parents C.R.E.A.T.E. is a community based prevention program designed for parents, caregivers, educators, anyone who has children in their lives. This class provides it’s participants with the tools necessary to recognize the warning signs of sexual abuse, grooming, trafficking, and so much more. Parents C.R.E.A.T.E. also arms participants with the crucial knowhow to respond when a child discloses abuse, what to do if abuse is suspected and how to talk with children about disclosure. The topics of human trafficking, pornography, sextortion, and abuse are difficult and widely misunderstood. We’ll discuss how to have age appropriate safety discussions with the youth in your life of all ages to help keep them safe, or to find them support if abuse has happened.
Parents C.R.E.A.T.E. is 8 total hours of instruction and if you successfully finish all 8 hours you’ll receive a certificate of completion along with a letter covering the dates, hours and topics covered. This letter is great to give to a caseworker or judge should you be in Family Court as it shows you’ve taken a proactive approach to your child’s safety.
