Full Charge Bookkeeper
Beyond Survival Aberdeen, WA
JOB SUMMARY
Annual Wage: $37,440- $43,680 (depending on experience)
We are looking to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our nonprofit company. As part of our team, you will manage all company ledgers, process payroll, and reconcile invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Additionally, you will assist leadership with reporting and regulatory requirements. Our ideal candidate has several years of prior bookkeeping experience, expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks software, and experience preparing financial statements. You also need communication skills to explain financial concepts to other employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process payroll
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare deposits and reconcile company ledgers
- Perform account reconciliations and invoicing
- Prepare month end financial statements and board reports
- Assist with grant and company budgets
Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Certification in accounting, finance, or
business administration (preferred) - Prior experience with accounting or bookkeeping
- Superb attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with nonprofit accounting
- Excel Spreadsheet knowledge
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening for all substances including THC.
